It's the British motor show – so we were banking on Subaru pulling off some outrageous Impreza versions. Sure enough, the UK importer didn't disappoint, with a (quite literally, we suspect) handful of madcap Scoobys aimed at those drivers for whom power is utterly addictive. This is the new Bentley Azure T, a 500bhp and 1000Nm (738lb ft) drop-top that will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show next week. Don’t worry, it has – the company has even laid-off workers while at least one Bentley dealership is reported to have gone bust. But to keep customers coming through the doors there are a few new Bentleys on the way.
Australian auto culture magazine, Fuel, has created this beautiful short film, Factory 6, featuring an interview with Melbourne-based, Detroit-raised Ford Chief Designer, Craig Metros. The film explores the shared Melbourne workshop space in which Metros and five other designers work on a number of automotive and art projects in their spare time. It offers a great insight into his inspirations, his feelings on making the jump from Detroit to Melbourne and how it feels to have fulfilled a childhood dream.
